African Youth Advocation and Transfomration-AYAT was established in 2009 to enage refugee youth in leadership, education, Arts and Cultures program. Our youth program was initially carried out in three cities: Buffalo, New York, Salt City, Utah, and Des Moines, Iowa. Due to financial difficulties, we moved the whole program to Buffalo, New York where we serve than 50 youth age 12 to high school. Unfortunately, this summer, we did not carry out youth program due to lack of volunteers and finances to hire a program director. We hope to put it in place again. More progress and live pictures will be soon posted here.
