CAMPAIGNS:
AID and CARE's comprehensive strategy to assist and addresse in four primary areas — Abandoned Children and Orphans, Educaction, health, Women and hunger. We also focus on THAMODS and emergency relief and preparedness as the major factors affecting war survivors and their communities. In all of our efforts, we place special emphasis on assisting abandoned children, orphans and women, who affected by wars, poverty and have no enormous potential to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
Education: Education is the master key and cornerstone of empowering individual’s life On top, it help reduces poverty and wars. By helping children gain the knowledge and skills to succeed, they become more productive members, families, communities and societies.
THAMODS: TB, HIV/AIDS, MALARIA, and Other Diseases: Poverty and war are both a cause and consequence of THAMODS. AID and CARE empowers people with the information and tools to protect themselves, and promotes grassroots efforts to mitigate the effects of HIV/AIDS in poor communities.
Food:Orphaned children do not have a place to eat nor do they have relatives to feed. Eventhough they do have relatives, they are unable to feed them because they have no food either. Children stand on the streets begging anybody they see for food. They suffer and die easily because they bodies gradually become weak and weak. That is the dead end of their lives. Imagine
seeing your children slowly starving... and having nothing to feed them. For
countless destitute families, this is a grim reality. Your gift today will
bring lifesaving food to hungry children and their families
Housing: There are millions orphans and homeless children in Southern Sudan that need shelters to protect them from criminals and animals. They have no places to stay. They stay in strangers' verandas, under trees, and on the streets and garbage areas. Widowed families live in traditional made house with mud, and
scraps of plastic which fall on them when heavy rains are falling. Your gift for housing will help built orphanage home and center and that may also assist a family
with a safe, basic home and restore their human dignity.
Water: Clean,
safe drinking water is essential for life. In developing countries, access to
safe drinking water can be limited, often resulting in serious illnesses and
death. Your gift will help provide lifesaving water to those lacking clean
drinking water and sanitation.
