Rewrite Orphans Future(ROF-Project)
Rewrite Orphans Future is the heart of the Aid and Care’s Mission created for the purpose of providing food, clothing, shelter, medical support and education to children and youth orphaned by diseases, famine, war, and other disasters in Africa.
The ROF’s aims are simple and straight from the heart our founders’ vision:
- To give orphans and street kids a home.
- To create a safe, loving and nurturing environment for these children.
- To give them medical care and referrals for healthy life
- To educate them to become productive members of our world
- To empower and bring them back into the community as healthy, educated and well-adjusted adults so they can play their part in the future of their own nation.
Give to Rewrite Orphans Future
With the help of generous contributions from donors like you, we can build new adoption orphanages and support existing ones. Our funding does not stem from government grants. Donations from individuals, businesses, and private foundations provide the financial support needed to feed, house, clothe, medicate, and educate orphan. To fully meet our program goal, funding we received is used to operate these orphanages and provide care for the children. In addition to sustaining life, donations help train caregivers, pay for supplies, provide education, and more. The Project Impact
In 2009, we collaborated with Concern Group International to build an orphanage center in South Sudan by 2011. However, due to lack fundings for Aid and Care has suspended the construction of orphanage. There was also insecurity concern. The great news is that, the construction of Orphanage just resumed in the last 3 months. We hope to see it finish in the summer of 2012.
Sponsorship and Scholarship: Last year, we've already sponsored many orphaned youths to schools in Rwanda and Ethiopia. Although we dont take care of their shelters and food, we believe that educating them is the most crucial one. Regardless lack of funding, we hope to do more orphans enrolment to High schools and colleges in Uganda and South Sudan.
Currently, we have 21 orphaned youth waiting to be sponsored to high schools and colleges. Please help put these children back to schools. We are campaigning to raise $ 40000 in which 10 % of the amoung will proceed to orphans care and education in 2012.
