Q: Where does AID work? 
 

A:  AID and CARE plans to work in Africa started with Southern Sudan and then beyond. Just two years in its business AID extends it mission to Kigali Rwanda last year serving nearly 500 orphans. AID and CARE began working in Aweil, Southern  Sudan

Q: What are the goals of AID and CARE?

A: The overriding goal of AID and CARE is to assist the abandoned children, orphans and women, whose parents have been victims of  more than a decade civil war and genocides, diseases, disaster, hunger and poverty in Sudan and Rwanda. AID and CARE focuses on providing these orphans , abandoned children and women with basic requirements such as: food, shelter, clothing ,education, health care, and social development.

Q: When was the organization founded? 

A:  AID and CARE originally known as American Care and Education for Sudan was founded on June 30 2006 and incorporated in 2007 in the state of New York, Iowa and Texas. 

Q: Who are founders?

A: Came as a conception dream by the former survivors of genocides and war in Sudan, the group of young boys(now young men) know as the lost boys of Sudan and their American friends founded the organization to give  back to their community.

Q: How is it supported?

A: AID and CARE is a 501c3 US based non-profit organization and appeals to well wishers to support the program.

Q: How much does it cost to sponsor a child’s shelter and education?

A: The cost to support one child’s education and shelter is $1,500.00 US Dollars per year.

Q: What can I do to help?

A: A tax-deductible donation to The AID and CARE directly assists in making sure that the children have shelter, food, clothing and an education.  



Q: How does AID help volunteers to help?

A: AID and CARE has many programs that help you get involved:

Collecting Dime for building “ Brothers and Sisters “ schools in Southern Sudan: you can collect dimes at your work, schools, and church or from your family.

Friends of HOPE dinner: You can cook food and invite your friends to eat and present AID and CARE to them.

Give On the Lord Day (GOLD): You make fundraising drive at your church during holiday such as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas

Walk for Memories and Prayers: The former lost boys of Sudan walk and pray annually to honor those who lost their lives when they were walking in the jungles and sahara deserts. They walk to pray for peace in their country.  You hold can hold a walk with your church. Read more

MED Team: We encourage business owners, corporations, doctors, nurses, pastors, and educations to join this team so that they provide necessary plans and actions to make AID and CARE advances in Africa. Please read more about MED Team

Speaking Engagement: This is program is the most successful program toward AID and CARE's Mission. Our volunteers including former lost boys of Sudan speak to tell their experiences and succcesses that may impact people in the United States.
