In the last five years, Aid and Care worked to achieve what it took to help most vulnerable children and orphans in East Africa. 


Despite the fact that the organization struggles financially, a little we received made a huge difference in lives of those who suffer in East Africa.

Since the beginning of the program more than 3000 children have been served. 55% are orphans who lost their parents to war, disaster, disease, and hunger. We’ve listed some of our proudest achievements below.

Primary School

·         2007-2008: Rebuilt the collapse rural school and renamed as New Hope Primary School in

·         2008-Present: More than 3000 students enrolled in school

School Attendance

·         75% of New Hope primary school-age orphans attended school in 2008 compared with 65% of school-age children in the region overall.

·         285  secondary school students attend school

School Performance

·         100% of students at New Hope Primary School students passed the National Examination in 2010 compared to a national passing rate of below 60% of National Avereage

Orphanage

·         Already put 1,084 orphans in Southern Sudan and 46 orphans in Rwanda back to school

·         10% of the orphans met their medical need and treatments

·         15% of orphaned students will go to secondary school in 2012

New Hope Growth

·         Since the school reopened in 2007,the number of students keeps increasing 5% every year.
