What can we say to our supporters like you when we see positve challenges in the vulnerable children's lives? We only say " Thank you". "You Care". And because you care we are enable to make possibility of hope for the children in Southern Sudan.

The construction of New Hope Primary School is a great achievement of th proudnes of work in Southern Sudan. This came as the results of great partership and generous contributions by people like you. Up to that extent, Aid and Care has contributed 35% and Cook International Foundation 65% to build this school. After the completion of this school , the next question was what if children who are attending New Hope Primary graduate or even in the worse case, the present students who do not have secondary school, will go where for more education? .

Well, the answer is very simple; we need to build NEW HOPE SCONDARY SCHOOL or American Friends Academy School in Makuach village, 25 miles away from Mabior where New Hope Primary School is currently located. This is great challege to Aid and Care because being the first project to be built through its effort. Since Aid and Care never builds school by itself, now the time has come to us and we hope tp build this school in the summer of 2011.

Therefore, New Hope Secondary School construction has been proposed to be built to in order to provide postprimary education to New Hope Primary School students and present secondary schools.Together we hope to build this school in LESS THAN TWO YEARS as quickly it is urgently NEEDED in Makuach village, Southern Sudan.

PROJECTED COST OF BUILDING SCHOOL

We are currently campaigning for anticipated budget cost of $400,000. We have already secured more than $4,000 and we aim to raise $175,000 for starting the building's ground foundation and its walls.

APPEAL!! We deeply encourage individual donors, business owners to help reach this goal. We also encourage students, teachers, administrators in elementary and high schools and students and professors in colleges or universities to help us reach this goal. We strongly rotary clubs, Lions CLubs, and other clubs adopt this project to raise for it or raise funds on our behave.

Project Budget

Initial Construction Costs - $175,000 (includes ground breaking foundation, materials and labor for four additional classrooms, two dormitories and ten toilets)
On-site Bore Hole - $12,000
New Hope Student Scholarship Fund - $15,000 (covers the cost of school fees and uniforms for 40 additional students)
Educational Supplies - $8,000 (includes paraffin, pencils, paper and textbooks)
Food Security Fund - $7,000

The total budget for initiated project is $320,000

$80, 000 for running New Hope Primary School for 4 years.
