The Roots to the Aid and Care Foundation

  The birth of AID and CARE came by the vision and dream of the former lost boy of Sudan.  Dominic Diing was born in Makuach village in Aweil, Southern Sudan. While Dominic was a cattle herder boy in his village, the Arabs of the Northern Sudan collaborated with Western Sudan(Darfur), Eastern Sudan, Central Sudan, and their allies against black Africans, Christians and Animists of Southern Sudan. They came to his village killing his people, taking children for slave marketing, burning down houses, and taking their livestock.  When Dominic was 7 years old, his village  was massively attacked, many people were killed and the whole village was on the fire.That was the last chance Dominic had to escape to safe his life.  Read more

Our Beliefs:

We believe that the only way to successfully help  vulnerable children and  orphans in Southern Sudan is through a holistic approach that addresses all of the children's needs and development simultaneously. The issues and challenges these orphans face are interconnected; the solutions to these problems should reflect and incorporate this complex relationship.

• We also believe that all children needs are the same love, care, understanding, and emotional nourishment that are necessary for growth and development.
  
• Unfortunately, more than 1 million orphans in Southern Sudan are in desperate need of much more help. They lack homes and resources that are vital to pursuing their safety, educations and leading healthy, productive lives; attending schools significantly inspires their futures. Read More.

Aid and Care is run by dedicated friendly volunteers who believe that saving  abandoned children vulnerable orphans'lives is our first priority; such lives are empowered by  having access to shelter, health care and education. In the team are the  former lost boys  of Sudan(now young men who  HAVE achieved in U.S), who are the very best example of this act and believe.
